A big swarm of bikes is one of ten short Digital Stories I produced in 2011 for the ‘I, Cowley’ project – a heritage project funded by the HLF which sought to produce a creative archive of images and stories about the Cowley area of Oxford over the past 100 years.

The ‘I, Cowley’ Digital Stories represent a wonderful collection of personal and at times, intimate stories of Cowley people, their lives, experiences and memories of the place they all call home. They are all short, accessible and diverse in their nature but together, they help to weave a picture of Cowley’s past in an engaging, entertaining and moving way.
