Bob Swaim (66 years-old), Stanley Wohlbach (91 years-old), back, and Joseph Zeller (93 years-old), front, ride an unorthodox three-person bicycle on the Saucon Rail Trail Swaim said the trio set a “world record” for average age of riders on a three-person bicycle.
…
The front passenger on the strange bike, Zeller on Sunday, sits in a recumbent, or laid-back, seat facing forward. The back passenger, in this case Wohlbach, sits in another recumbent seat, facing backwards. The middle passenger, or captain, Swaim, has a regular bicycle seat and steers. All pedal.
