A picture depicting German Olympic bikers comparing their enormous thigh muscles has gone viral. The photo features Andre Greipel and Robert Forstemann stood in the middle of the German camp in their underwear, displaying their bulging legs for the camera.
The impromptu photo op and quad competition was set up by Kiwi cyclist Greg Henderson. Henderson later tweeted the photo with the message: “You thought Greipel has a big set of legs. There was a quad off in the German camp today. Greipel lost.”
Greipel, a road-race sprinter, competed against Mark Cavendish and Bradley Wiggins in the Olympic road race on Saturday, while Forstemann is a sprinting track cyclist, due to take part in the men’s mountain bike race on August 12.
